Dear Diary
Today was a good day for me.
Even though these are my final days at Cooktastic before heading into the industry, I just wanted to share how I’m feeling.
I’m nervous and excited all at once. Nervous because I’m about to step into the real world of hospitality. Excited because I’ll finally be doing what I’ve dreamed of doing all my life.
With all that in mind, I’ve also been thinking: if I’m spreading my wings, I might as well go all the way.
Lately, I’ve been really wanting to change my environment. I would love to live on my own — in a little place I can call home — with Bruno, of course. He’s my baby boy, and I honestly couldn’t imagine life without him.
It’s a big step, but it’s one I feel ready to take.
I want to be independent. I enjoy being home, but I also crave my own space — a chance to live like an adult. I know it won’t be easy. Life never is. But sometimes, change is what we need for real growth.
I can’t wait to gain experience in the industry. And I know having my own place will push me to think more clearly, do better, and build the kind of life I’ve always wanted.
I’m striving for change. And honestly? There’s no better time than now.
