The Dog Behind the Name
Meet Charlie.
In 2017, Samantha, our founder, rescued a big, bold pitbull named Charlie. He was more than a dog — he was a turning point.
Charlie taught her courage, friendship and unconditional love. He opened her eyes to the world of animal rescue and the urgent need to address neglect and abuse at their root.
Charlie changed the course of Samantha’s life. Charlie’s Change exists to honour his legacy and create lasting change.
